Located below the Aggie Grey building, this
state of the art gym provides air conditioned
comfort and all the amenities to compliment
it. Open daily from 5am till late. This is

Samoa Scenic Tours:
This scenic Tour company has been running
daily tours and excursion around Upolu Island
for well over 40 years. They are professional
and have a range of daily tours and specials
which leave the Hotels on a half day and full

Deep Sea Fishing:
There are a number of Fishing Charter Companies
which can take you out for the big catch.
Whether it be Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Shark, Marlin..the
choice is yours. You can be picked up from
the Seawall in front of the Hotel and once
past the wharf you can quickly begin to set
your lines. Most Trips are half day starting
at 6am till 2pm and prices vary depending
on the skipper.
Fishing outside Apia is one of the most beautiful
past times, you look back to one of the most
beautiful volcanic Islands in the South Seas.

Snorkeling:
Just a five minute walk past the Aggie Greys,
you will see the only marine Reserve in Samoa,
called Palolo Deep this is one of the most
beautiful spots to snorkel in Samoa. The colour
and the choice of sea life available is simply
stunning. Snorkels and flippers can be hired
at the Hotel Tour desk for a small fee. Palolo
Deep is open daily from 7am till dark.
Paopao (Samoan Outrigger
Canoes):
Many outrigger canoe clubs exist and they
practice from Mondays to Saturday on the Harbour
in front the Hotels. Many of the Canoe Clubs
would be delighted to take you for a practice
on Apia Harbor at no cost. During May to June
and August to September, Aggie Grey's sponsors
the traditional 50 seat war canoes called
the Fautasi or long boats. Enquire with the
Hotel Tour desk to book a seat on these ancient
sea crafts or participate with a local outrigger
canoe practice in the evenings.
Golf:
Located just outside Apia in the village of
Fagalii, is the 18 hole Royal Samoan Country
Club. Guests at Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows
receive a complimentary daily green fees at
the picturesque Royal Samoan Country Club.

and your complimentary green fees voucher.
Opening July 2005 is the Aggie Grey's Lagoon,
Beach Resort & Spa with an 18 Hole International
Golf Course. This 18-hole course matches some
of the finest greens in the Pacific.
Diving:
Dive with one of the local operators. Palolo
Deep Marine Reserve, Apia and at Aganoa on
the south coast of Upolu are accessible from
the shore. These activities can be arranged
on a daily basis by the Hotel Tour Desk.

The Apia Squash Club is a five minute walk
away from Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows.
Bookings are required to reserve a court.

Kayaking:
Most of Samoa's coastline is ringed with fringing
reefs, making it ideal for kayaking, while
a number of adventure companies offer kayaking
tours around the main islands and smaller
uninhabited offshore islands.

Hiking & Tramping - Upolu Island:
Le Fale O Le Fee, an archaeological site at
the end of Faipule Road.
Amaile to Tafaga Beach on the northeast coast.
Anapu to Lefaga, a coastal walk on the southern-western
end of Upolu Island.
From Falelatai (end of the West Coast Road)
to Matafa'a village road. Near the site of
the Aggie Grey's Lagoon, Beach Resort &
Spa.
Several walks extend from the village of Uafato
on the Northeast.
Robert Louis Stevenson Tomb is a 30 minute
walk from Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows
and it will be another 45 minutes to his tomb,
the time and walk is ideal.
Robert
Louis Stevenson Museum:
The mansion of this famous author features
many of his belongings. It's a 30-45 minute
walk to his tomb at the top of Mount Vaea
which has fine views of Apia. It is close
by to Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows.
Jogging:
Joggers can utilize the seawall, which rings
Apia Harbour from Aggie Grey's Hotel &
Bungalows to Mulinu'u. The track at Apia Park
is also available from 7am to 6pm. The seawall
however is an ideal venue to jog and watch
the sun set over Apia Harbor.

in the heart of Apia City and is a five minute
drive from Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows.
